For nearly two decades, Kathy Merchant has been building businesses, guiding growth, and helping women design intentional lives. After successfully owning and operating a service-based business for 18 years, Kathy launched Kathy & Co.—a brand born out of her deep passion for goal setting, strategic planning, and empowering women to take charge of their next chapter.
As a retreat leader, entrepreneur, and creative strategist in the planner world, Kathy combines real-world business acumen with actionable, heart-centered strategy. You can frequently find her sharing her passion on the road at women’s expos, planner conferences, and industry events nationwide. Whether she’s designing high-impact planning tools, hosting transformative retreat experiences, or guiding women to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be, her mission is simple: to help you turn big vision into daily, predictable action.
Rooted in Family & Purpose
Born and raised in Michigan, Kathy’s proudest role is at home. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over a decade, and together they’ve built a life rich in family, joy, and generations of love—complete with their five beautiful children and wonderful grandchildren.
When she isn't mapping out business growth or connecting with women at events, you can find her on the family farm, Wildflower Creek Lops, where she owns and operates a specialized rabbitry raising pedigree Holland Lop and rare Lutino Holland Lop rabbits.
Whether on the farm, on the exhibition floor, or hosting a retreat, Kathy believes that with the right mindset, clear boundaries, and a solid strategy, any dream is within reach.
